UAE Minister Visits Julphar to Strengthen Pharmaceutical Sector

The UAE Minister Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi meets with Julphar to enhance national pharmaceutical production and establish healthcare independence.

His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi served as both Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Chairman of the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) during his inspection at Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) to enhance the pharmaceutical sector of the UAE.

The delegation succeeded in viewing advanced manufacturing facilities with H.E. Dr. Maha Taysir Barakat and H.E. Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi and other EDE officials leading the visit at Julphar. National pharmaceutical capabilities received support during this visit which accelerated essential medicine self-sufficiency objectives.

Julphar earned recognition from Dr. Al Zeyoudi for its innovative work while the organization served as an example of the expanding pharmaceutical market structure in the UAE. He emphasized that enabling domestic production power stands as the most vital strategy for economic transformation and public health defense.

CEO Basil Ziadeh of Julphar thanked the government for its backing while confirming that their organization remains dedicated to developing innovation along with talent capabilities and international performance standards.

EDE remains committed to making the UAE a regional pharmaceutical excellence center through its ongoing work on quick product assessment and international partnership development programs.

The final meeting focus was on overcoming industry hurdles while inviting investments in research activities along with public and private sector collaborative ventures.
