Bachelor in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (BMRIT) is a three and a half year paramedical course. The students willing to pursue BMRIT course must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects in 10+2. Students from Arts or Commerce stream are not eligible for this course.
BMRIT course aims at training students regarding latest techniques used in diagnosis of several diseases and disorders. This course is one of the most popular courses in health system due to modernization in medical field. This course generally focuses on teaching different methods of radiographic imaging such as X-Ray, CT Scans, MRI, Ultrasound etc. and involves techniques used to take internal pictures of the human body to get every detail of the disease or disorder present inside the body.
